The University of the Cumberlands is seeking to hire adjunct faculty for the online RN-BSN program as well as online pre-licensure support courses. The candidate will report to the Chair of the Forcht School of Nursing. Job Responsibilities: The adjunct Nursing Faculty will have responsibilities in the following areas: • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator/Online Program Director/Department Chair on an academic assessment plan including measures and reporting of data. • Participate in curriculum review and achievement of program outcomes. • Collaborate with Program Coordinator/Online Program Director/Department Chair to maintain rigor and consistency within the nursing program. • Assist the Program Coordinator/Online Program Director/Department Chair in the achievement and maintenance of accreditation standards. • Promote the growth of the School of Nursing. • Maintain a faculty course load according to the University faculty load policy. • Collaborate with Program Coordinator/Online Program Director/Department Chair on reports and budget needs. • Attend faculty meetings and university trainings. • Demonstrate an excellence in teaching. Job Requirements: The candidate should: • Hold a Master of Science degree in the field of Nursing (doctorate preferred) • Hold a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license and/or APRN license in a Nurse Licensure Compact state or be willing to apply for licensure in the state of KY. • Have a minimum of two years of experience within the last five years as a licensed Registered Nurse or APRN. • Demonstrate a history of employee excellence.
