Job title: AP Computer Science Teacher (Part-Time) Remote Company: C2 Education Job description: Responsibilities Responsibilities: • Tutors are paid to complete the C2 Teacher Training Program and additional ongoing training • Instruct students in a maximum 3:1 student, Teacher ratio • Keep detailed records of tutoring sessions using C2 Student Progress Records and/or relevant forms • Work closely with the Center Program Director to meet students’ academic goals • Opportunity to work for a mission driven company • Track and analyze student progress • Tutor tailors’ lessons to meet student needs • Performs administrative and team based activities as needed Qualifications Qualifications: • High School Degree and at least one year of college completed • AP Computer Science scores above the 95th Percentile. Applicants can provide an official score report from the last 10 years or take C2’s applicant test. • AP-level knowledge in at least one additional subject preferred (Calculus AB/BC, Statistics, Physics 1/2/C, Chemistry, Biology, Macro/Microeconomics, etc) or ability to teach SAT/ACT prep • No teacher certification required • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred • Proficient with google workspace platforms (ie. google sheets, docs, slides, drive) • Must have a quiet location from which to conduct remote teaching sessions without disturbance • Highly skilled, motivated, versatile, dependable, and dynamic individuals with strong communication skills The information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the priorities, skills and abilities required to do the job.
