Application Developer Intern (Hybrid)

They are seeking an Application Developer Intern to provide hands-on experience in developing and maintaining business systems solutions while gaining skills in a dynamic professional setting. Responsibilities Under guidance from more senior team members, develop, test, implement, document, and maintain business systems solutions adhering to established methodology and practices, and in accordance with project plans Communicate with the customer and/or representative, providing information, options, and taking the necessary action as needed Conduct research on projects/files that require in-depth study and analysis Gather and organize data for reports/projects Compose correspondence and emails Prepare written reports/projects Resolve problems and/or issues Attend and participate in meetings and team discussions Skills Working towards an associate's degree or higher Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent communication skills Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn Understanding of application development life cycles, object-oriented designs and development, and agile methodology Experience with any of the following is helpful: C#, JavaScript, Web API's, .NET Core, Azure Cloud, or Cloud experience, familiar with infrastructure as code Benefits Medical coverage Employee assistance program 401k plan Company Overview TruStage™ is a financially strong insurance and financial services provider, built on the philosophy of people helping people, meeting the needs of middle-market consumers and the businesses that serve them.
