Associate Designer, 3D

Set Creative is seeking an Associate Designer, 3D who will support the Senior Designer, 3D and Design Director, 3D in various client projects. This role involves ideating, designing, and communicating creative concepts for spaces and experiences, utilizing strong 3D modeling and rendering skills. Responsibilities Actively participates in concept & design brainstorms and project ideation Designs spaces and experiences based on direction from creative team leaders Utilizes strong 3D modeling and rendering skills using industry-standard software Collaboratively works and communicates with project teams including creative leads, technical design and production Clearly communicates design intent and presents creative & design concepts Pays close attention to the details, building environments with accurate measurements and specifications Works quickly and efficiently, with organized files set up for seamless transition to production phase Keeps up with design trends and environmental / architectural design innovations Skills Proficient in industry-standard 3D software, e.g. Rhino, AutoCAD, and Blender Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Basic knowledge of production design and ability to make design intent drawings for production Graphic design knowledge is a plus Ability to maintain a positive outlook under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees Highly organized with strong attention to detail Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills Willingness to travel for work 1+ years previous agency and/or in-house brand design experience (including internships) Company Overview VML is a leading creative company that combines brand experience, customer experience, and commerce, to create connected brands that drive growth.
