Associate Product Manager

The Associate Product Manager will play a key role in driving product development by collaborating with stakeholders, managing the product backlog, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products. Responsibilities Translate the product roadmap into epics, features, and user stories Define, refine, and prioritize product requirements aligned with business and user needs Maintain a clear, organized, and continuously updated product backlog Make informed decisions about scope, trade-offs, and priorities throughout development cycles Partner closely with engineering in an Agile/Scrum environment Serve as the development team’s day-to-day point of contact for all product-related questions Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to gather feedback and validate concepts Conduct or support user testing to inform product decisions Analyze user feedback and identify opportunities for enhancements or new features Incorporate insights into iterative product improvements and future roadmap planning Monitor product performance and usage trends Use AI tools like Figma Make or Replit to develop early stage prototypes Identify and implement opportunities to automate or improve the working process Generate dashboards to measure performance and usage using no/low-code tools (we use Superblocks) Skills Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an Associate Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role, preferably in a software development environment Familiarity of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and product management principles Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple competing priorities Familiarity of software development processes, technologies, and trends Familiarity with some product management and collaboration tools (e.g., Productboard, Jira, Confluence, Asana) Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of user needs to inform feature development and prioritize improvements Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SaaS platforms, UI/UX design principles, and engineering workflows Collaboration: Skilled at working across diverse stakeholder groups Project Management: Basic organizational skills to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively Communication: Demonstrated ability to present ideas, create documentation, and engage stakeholders Problem-Solving: Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges Benefits Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans 401(k) with Company Match: Plan for your future with our retirement savings program Equity Purchase Option: Participate in Fuel Cycle’s long-term success Flexible Work Schedule: Empowering you to balance life and work Generous Time Off: 15 vacation days and 7 sick days per year, 12 company holidays, 4 floating holidays/recharge days to rest or celebrate what matters to you Paid Parental Leave: Time to bond with your growing family Monthly Internet & Phone Stipend: Support for remote work setup Wellness & Lifestyle Perks: Access to tools like Rightway (healthcare navigation), Headspace (mental wellness), and more Team Connection Perks: Weekly community lunches, refreshments, and snacks at our LA & NY headquarters, Pet-friendly office environments Company Overview Fuel Cycle's Market Research Cloud integrates human insight with critical business data for actionable intelligence.
