Associate Psychologist, ADC

Child Mind Institute is dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders. They are seeking an Associate Psychologist to conduct clinical assessments and provide evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents with various mental health concerns. Responsibilities Conduct semi-structured clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, young adults, and families presenting with mental health concerns Provide evidence-based treatment, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and behavioral interventions for mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety-related disorders, selective mutism, and comorbid conditions, in individual and group formats Co-treat and collaborate with clinicians in multidisciplinary teams and specialized treatment programs Participate in educational didactics, multidisciplinary case conferences, clinical meetings, and the Visiting Professor lecture series Engage in comprehensive supervision, including at least one hour of individual supervision per week and additional group supervision Skills PhD or PsyD degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology, school psychology, or counseling psychology Full completion of doctoral degree by the beginning of the postdoctoral fellowship Successful completion of a pre-doctoral internship Flexibility to work hours including afternoon / evening hours to accommodate school schedules Benefits Medical insurance 401(k) Paid parental leave Dependent care Discounted tickets and entertainment perks programs Company Overview The Child Mind Institute is an independent national nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders.
