Automation Tester (Remote Opportunity)

We are currently looking for an Automation Tester – Microsoft Dynamics 365 for a 100% remote position on a large federal government project in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Product and Technology Ecosystem Management Services (PTEMS). The PTEMS team supports one of the VA's largest IT enterprise portfolios of over 300 SaaS/PaaS applications. The selected candidate will join a collaborative quality assurance team focused on designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service) solutions. Working closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams, this role will help deliver scalable, high-quality business applications. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications using appropriate automation frameworks and tools. • Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback. • Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution. • Translate business processes into test scenarios by collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders. • Generate and communicate test results, coverage metrics, and quality status reports. • Promote QA best practices, maintain test documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational standards. • Perform manual testing as needed to supplement automation efforts or validate complex scenarios. • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in test automation, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 products. • Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, EasyRepro, or RSAT. • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as C#, JavaScript, or PowerShell for test automation. • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, modules, and business processes. • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Additional Qualifications: • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics products at the Department of Veterans Affairs. • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). • Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI. • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or QA certifications. • Experience with performance and load testing tools. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Prior experience collaborating with VA stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery. • Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) within a federal agency environment. • Proven knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs operations, policies, and client-facing technology solutions. • Ability to obtain a Government clearance Benefits: • Medical/Dental/Vision. • 401k with Employer Match. • PTO + Federal Holidays. • Corporate Laptop. • Training Opportunities. • Remote Opportunity.
