Claims Administrative Support Specialist

Provide administrative support to the claims team by organizing and maintaining claim files, completing paperwork, and entering data into the system accurately and efficiently. Assist with the processing and tracking of claims, ensuring that all necessary documentation is properly completed and submitted. Communicate with customers, agents, and other departments to gather and verify claim information and provide updates on claim status. Handle incoming calls and emails from customers and provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing claims and handling sensitive information. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and provide support as needed. Utilize and maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance and efficiency. Proactively identify and escalate any potential issues or concerns to management. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the claims team. Maintain a professional and positive attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues, representing the company in a positive light. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data security guidelines. Keep accurate records and documentation of all claims-related activities. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in order to effectively support the claims team. Complete any additional tasks or projects assigned by management in a timely and efficient manner.
