Job Title: Clinical Consultant – Telemedicine (Advanced Practice Provider) Location: Remote (or specify location) Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract Reports to: Medical Director / Clinical Operations Manager Pay: Commensurate with experience Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Consultant – Telemedicine to support the growth and quality of our virtual care programs. This role is intended for a MD, Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong clinical background and a passion for digital health innovation. The Clinical Consultant will help ensure the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of virtual healthcare services by contributing to clinical strategy, workflows, training, and quality improvement initiatives. Candidates MUST hold licensure or be in the process of obtaining (On or before January 5, 2026) for the states of CA, GA and FL for consideration. Additional states are a plus. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a clinical subject matter expert to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of telemedicine services. • Collaborate with clinicians, operational teams, and technology staff to optimize virtual care workflows and ensure regulatory compliance. • Review and contribute to clinical policies, procedures, and digital tools (e.g., EMRs, patient intake forms, care pathways). • Monitor and evaluate virtual care delivery, providing feedback on clinical quality, patient outcomes, and user experience. • Support quality assurance activities including chart reviews, peer feedback, and process audits. Qualifications: • Active, unrestricted license as a Medical Doctor (MD or DO), or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in [CA, GA, FL at a minimum]. • At least 1 year of telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred. • Strong understanding of digital health delivery, patient safety, and healthcare compliance standards. • Effective communicator with experience in provider education, clinical documentation, and workflow design. • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across various time zones. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with EMRs/EHRs and digital documentation standards. • Prior experience in clinical operations, healthcare consulting, or quality improvement projects. • Certification in telehealth (e.g., Telehealth Certification from ATA, CTHC) is a plus. Working Conditions: • Remote/virtual position with flexible scheduling. • May require occasional travel for team meetings, training sessions, or clinical assessments (if applicable).
