Conference Content/ Program lead

IDGA is seeking a commercially minded and intellectually curious Conference Content/ Program lead to work on their defense and government focused events portfolio. The role involves developing and managing event content, conducting market research, and delivering high-quality conferences both in-person and virtually. Responsibilities Conduct phone and web-based research to identify market pressure points and investment priorities, defining the commercial angle for your event and product portfolio Recruit senior military leaders to provide keynote briefings, to join panels and to participate in interactive roundtable Build a gripping narrative around all of your events and take responsibility for driving that message, internally and externally Deliver cross-functional briefings and project manage your events across their lifecycle Deliver in-person conferences on-site. Travel domestically and internationally to represent IDGA and support an outstanding customer experience and customer retention Develop exciting and engaging content in innovative formats Skills Degree-holders with 18 months+ experience of conference production (though we welcome applications from ambitious individuals with other transferrable experience) Strong Communicators who can distil complex subject matter and confidently brief a project team, motivate their peers and drive results Uncompromising researchers who refuse to be intimidated by seniority and enjoy understanding why businesses work the way they do, what their challenges are and how we can help to solve them Accomplished writers who can deliver gripping external-facing content that captures the attention of our audiences Self-starters who welcome the opportunity to work autonomously, at pace and across multiple projects simultaneously Fast workers who can deliver to tight deadlines without compromising on quality Candidates must have reliable internet, computer and android or iPhone for remote access Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401k Company Overview IDGA is a online community dedicated to providing defence industry professionals with news, business opportunities, podcasts, and webinars.
