Job Description: This is a remote, unpaid internship providing the opportunity for experience that you need to further your career goals. Our content editor internship is perfect for anyone who is looking to gain knowledge in online content publishing and/or editorial and writing fields and build a foundation for their career. Responsibilities Include: Content editor interns are responsible for researching, proofreading, and assisting with publishing online content. Content editors also fact-check articles and ensure the use of proper spelling, grammar, and syntax in outputs. As a Content Editor with Marketing Choices you will: • Proofread and edit articles and online content produced by content writers • Fact check and verify information and research within articles • Fulfill writing challenges as assigned by the Managing Editor • Complete Content Editing training with Marketing Choices • Attend monthly intern meeting with the Marketing Choices team Qualifications: • Strong passion in copywriting • Be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications or industry-related field • Experience with using Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Docs • Have strong writing and editing skills • Have a passion for helping others • Previous blog writing experience is a huge plus • Previous editing experience is a huge plus To Apply: Please submit your resume, cover letter, and a link to your portfolio to [email protected].
