Coordinator, Product Development

Coach is a global fashion house founded in New York in 1941. The Coordinator of Product Development supports the development process, managing sample activities, ensuring quality standards, and facilitating communication with the Asia PD team. Responsibilities Support product development activities including but not limited to: review of prototypes and samples, milestone adherence, sending of development packages to overseas partners, track & check in sample deliveries Partner with Materials teams to procure sampling materials for all development milestones Execute, maintain and update necessary data and tools in ecVision Review and confirm costs for each development round of sampling Manage day-to-day communication and activities with the Asia PD team Supports approval process and resolution of pending items to ensure smooth process from development to commercialization Execute day-to-day activities based on priorities set by Manager and drives task completion and issue resolution Demonstrate understanding of development process, implications when deadlines are missed, and alert manager of potential issues Skills An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 360, Excel, ECV or other PLM systems Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills 1+ years of relevant experience in product development, including the categories of handbags and SLGs Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task Flexibility to adapt as the business requires and to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability Experience working in a global company with overseas partners Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401 (K) Paid Paternity and Maternity leave Commuter Benefits Disability insurance Tuition assistance Company Overview Coach is an American luxury fashion company based in New York City.
