Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cyber Incident Engineer to join our team. As a highly organized problem-solver with a passion for cyber security, you will play a critical role in monitoring and analyzing security systems and networks, developing incident response processes, and working closely with our IT and security teams to identify and investigate security incidents. Key Responsibilities: Threat Detection and Analysis: Monitor and analyze security systems and networks for potential threats or suspicious activity, and identify security vulnerabilities. Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response processes, procedures, and playbooks, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the IT and security teams to identify and investigate security incidents, and provide technical support and guidance to end-users on security-related issues. Security Solution Design: Design and implement security solutions to protect systems from malicious attacks, and stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security technologies and trends. Reporting and Training: Create and maintain detailed reports of security incidents, and develop and deliver security training to end-users and other stakeholders. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in cyber security and incident response. Technical Skills: Thorough understanding of security protocols and tools, and a deep understanding of malicious code and attack vectors. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Highly organized problem-solver with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent. Certifications: Relevant cyber security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP. Cloud Security Experience: Experience with cloud security platforms and technologies. Leadership Experience: Experience in leading or managing a team.
