Join Our Mission-Driven Team as a Digital Channel Specialist The Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC) is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to supporting transformation and inspiring loving action in the world through the teaching of Christian contemplative wisdom and practices. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Channel Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence. As a remote-based Digital Channel Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our website, email campaigns, and social media channels while optimizing our digital strategy to engage and grow our audience. About the Role As the Digital Channel Specialist at the CAC, you will be responsible for making all web content updates, including building, proofing, and sending emails, and coordinating posts to our social channels. You will work closely with our Marketing & Sales Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with our mission and values. Our ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple projects seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: Manage front-end updates to CAC's website; create pages, post content, plan and update features; ensure alignment with brand standards. Manage building, proofing, and sending external CAC emails; create email campaigns, build email segments, and work with Marketing & Sales Manager to administer an external email content calendar. Manage CAC social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter; monitor and measure channel KPIs; optimize content and promotions in support of campaign and channel goals. Coordinate across teams on projects with web, email, or social media components. Create new email templates in collaboration with Director of Marketing and Communications, including building, setup, and testing. Support the department's manager and director with developing new channel marketing strategies, implementing marketing plans, and analyzing and reporting on channel metrics and campaign performance. Research audience preferences and emerging digital social media trends, technology, and audiences. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field of study. Minimum 2-3 years experience with hands-on management of social media accounts for companies or brands. Minimum 2-3 years experience with email marketing (including building and sending emails and managing a communications calendar). Experience with WordPress or a similar CMS required; HTML and CSS experience is highly preferred. Experience with Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics required. Preferred Qualifications: SEO and CRO experience. Experience with Asana or a similar project management tool. Familiarity and experience with Christian contemplative tradition and/or faculty's teachings.
