About the role The Digital Commerce Associate Architect will play a critical role in designing and delivering comprehensive e-commerce solutions for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital technologies, and architecture frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical teams, working on different technologies simultaneously and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. What you'll do Solution Design and Architecture : -Define and maintain architectural designs for both existing and future digital and e-commerce solutions, ensuring alignment with the overall technology strategy -Participate in the Commerce Design Authority, collaborate with vendor partners, and contribute to the Solution Review Board to ensure appropriate governance of proposed solutions -Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing e-commerce architectures -Ensure that solutions align with the client’s e-commerce strategy and support desired customer experience outcomes. E-Commerce Project Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement : -Lead cross-functional teams through the full e-commerce lifecycle, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions -Provide technical direction and enforce best practices to meet timelines and budgets -Align stakeholders and partners through clear communication and seamless integration with systems like ERP and PIM Technology Strategy & Quality Assurance : -Advise clients on e-commerce technology selection and strategy, leveraging platforms like Adobe Commerce, Magento, and Shopify -Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends and contributing to the technology roadmap -Ensure quality through best practices in security, performance, scalability, and code review standards Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, with a wide variety of Digital and eCommerce Architecture experience – across multiple business contexts Have Solid experience techniques in the following areas: Key features and capabilities provided by the market leading CRM (ideally Salesforce) and eCommerce platforms, integration of CRM to eCommerce platforms, integration of CRM to ERP , Middleware (ideally Boomi) and Web Content Management Systems, and application security best practice Proficiency with modern web technologies (e.g. Node.js, React.js, Next.js, RESTful APIs) and Data Models, and process flow diagrams relevant to e-commerce solutions Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms like Adobe Commerce, Magento , or similar platforms Have consulting experience with a strong track record at an IT consultancy or large corporate Successfully led the implementation of at least three B2B or B2C e-commerce solutions Have experience working with agile teams and methodologies and globally distributed teams Preferred Qualifications Required degree level (BA/BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng) in a technical discipline Certification in TOGAF or other architecture framework Certification in relevant e-commerce platforms or cloud technologies What we offer Competitive compensation package and potential to convert to a Full-Time role Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team Collaborative and innovative work environment Flexible work arrangements We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
