Engineering Services Agent

Noblis is a company that tackles the nation's toughest problems through advanced solutions for critical missions. They are seeking an Engineering Services Agent to support hardware/software installation, modification, and removal for engineering control systems, specifically on the USS Zumwalt class destroyers. Responsibilities Supporting the development, design, and testing of electrical components, mechanical systems, equipment, systems, and devices to meet various technological needs and applications within organizations Supporting engineers in the design, modification, and improvement of components and processes, identifying and recommending improvements and preventive actions, and inspecting, testing, maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment, components and systems Monitoring processes and equipment in operation and training/supporting Ships' Force on installation, repair, modification and operations Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and resolve technical issues Perform technical operations, analysis, and quality testing Perform standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability and timeliness to ensure performance is met in production processes Skills This position requires a Bachelors degree and 1 year of experience as an Electrical Technician (troubleshooting electrical, networking, systems, and controls equipment). In lieu of a Bachelor's degree will also consider an Associates and 3 years, or High School Diploma or Trade/Industrial School Diploma (or GED Equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience 2 years experience in engineering principles, technologies, and tools to support engineering projects and operations across various domains 2 years experience in engineering and technical operations to undertake analysis, design, and development activities to improve services Must be a US Citizen and have an active security clearance or ability to obtain an active security clearance Up to 20% travel required to support ongoing shipboard efforts Must be willing to spend the first few weeks in Philadelphia for training Physical requirements (ability to lift 50Ibs, maneuver in difficult spaces...)
