About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team for a temporary summer employment opportunity. As a customer service representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for participating in high-volume outbound and inbound call campaigns, answering customer questions, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Participate in high-volume outbound and inbound call campaigns based on assigned call lists, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Four to six months of customer service experience in a call center environment required. Good customer service skills, with the ability to provide empathetic support to customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone voice and etiquette. Ability to follow instructions and scripts, with strong time management and decision-making skills. Proficient with computers, with good typing skills and the ability to learn new software and systems. Knowledge of the FAFSA and college financial aid and admissions processes preferred. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a college financial aid office or administrative office. Previous experience working with the FAFSA or other financial aid processes. Knowledge of higher education institutions and their processes.
