About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled Editorial Insights Content Analyst to join our remote team. As a key member of our Editorial Creative team, you'll be responsible for analyzing, researching, and writing about movies and series with attention to detail, while understanding the underlying creative intent. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, including excellent communication and project management skills, to drive success in a fast-moving, professional environment. Key Responsibilities Objectively analyze, tag, research, and write about movies and series with attention to detail, while understanding the underlying creative intent. Meet tight, dynamic deadlines and assure the highest quality of output in a fast-paced environment. Develop an understanding of emerging film markets and successfully interpret the business strategy for these regions. Multitask, self-direct, and self-manage day-to-day aspects, as well as other editorial and innovation projects, including A/B tests that require cross-functional collaboration. Stay up-to-date with current affairs and cultural moments, while being aware of historical, political, social, and/or sensitive issues from across the EMEA region. Represent and advocate for the core Editorial Creative team, while building successful partnerships in the region. Master internal tools and systems successfully, ensuring seamless integration with the team. Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including presenting findings and insights to key stakeholders. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Prior experience in an Audio/Visual role, such as Content Specialist, Insights Strategist, Metadata Analyst, or Platform Editor. A deep knowledge of the entertainment industry and the global streaming and EMEA entertainment landscape. A passion for pop culture and new media trends, including other entertainment platforms. The ability to distinguish nuances within different movie and TV genres and distill the essence of a film/series, including sharing findings in an objective, concise manner. Excellent cross-functional skills, including presentation skills, with experience working with core cross-functional partners. Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to self-direct and self-manage. Full professional fluency in English, with fluency in Arabic required. Preferred Qualifications To take your application to the next level, you'll ideally have: Experience working with large data catalogs. Fluency in Excel, Airtable, Google Sheets, or other data trackers and data management systems. Additional European language knowledge, which will be considered a plus.
