Key Responsibilities As a Full Stack Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for: Assisting pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate patient records. Providing exceptional customer service, including greeting patients, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Developing strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Operating pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions in a timely and accurate manner. Assisting with the management of pharmacy inventory, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of prescription medications. Participating in ongoing education and training programs to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge in pharmacy practice. Collaborating with other pharmacy team members to ensure seamless and efficient patient care. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Basic math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications While not required, we prefer candidates with: Previous experience working in a retail or healthcare setting. Previous experience working with Walgreens or a similar pharmacy organization. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and software. Knowledge of inventory management and control procedures. Previous experience with pharmacy technician certification or registration.
