Job Overview We are seeking talented and customer-focused individuals to join our dynamic team as Part-Time Customer Escalations Phone Agents. As a remote worker, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, assisting customers who have received notifications related to past rentals or transactions. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure that our customers are satisfied with their experience. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via phone and chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns Use customer-provided information to assist with payments for prior rentals or resolve outdated alerts Craft acceptable solutions to address customer needs, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on company products, services, and policies Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to offer tailored solutions to customers Anticipate customer needs and offer proactive service to ensure a positive experience Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Minimum 6+ months of customer service experience Dual monitors are required, and you must have a hard-wired internet connection A friendly and caring tone, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner Knowledgeable care for various customer needs, with the ability to maintain a deep understanding of our products and services Ability to display empathy in adverse environments, with the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations Efficiency in navigation, with the ability to navigate multiple software applications and systems with speed and accuracy Typing and language skills, with a normal typing speed and strong spelling and grammar skills Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail Goal-oriented, with a willingness to learn different systems and navigate between multiple screens Ability to communicate efficiently through an instant messaging program Ability to work independently, delivering practical solutions, and thriving in a collaborative team environment Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At U-Haul, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
