As a Facilities Strategic Planner, you will play a vital role in our mission by developing and implementing strategic plans for our facilities to ensure optimal functionality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement strategic plans for SAIC facilities to ensure optimal functionality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and understand their needs in order to create comprehensive facility plans. Conduct thorough analysis of existing facilities and identify areas for improvement or potential risks. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to incorporate into facility planning. Evaluate and recommend changes to existing facility plans in order to align with company goals and objectives. Create and maintain detailed documentation and reports related to facility planning. Communicate and present facility plans to stakeholders, including senior management, to gain buy-in and support. Monitor and track progress of facility plans, making modifications as needed. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in facility planning. Collaborate with project managers to incorporate facility plans into project timelines and budgets. Identify and propose cost-saving measures in facility planning. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effective services. Provide guidance and support to other team members and departments regarding facility planning. Participate in strategic planning meetings to provide insight and recommendations on facility-related matters. Continuously assess and improve facility planning processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into facility planning strategies. Adhere to strict deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Remain knowledgeable about company operations and goals in order to align facility planning with overall company strategy. Uphold SAIC's values and standards in all aspects of facility planning. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise in facility planning.
