Field/Office Engineer - Weeks Marine Construction

They are seeking a Field/Office Engineer who will assist in project startup, field engineering, and safety while developing an understanding of company operations and policies. Responsibilities Develop scope of knowledge, skills, and understanding of WMI operations, policies, and procedures Assist in project startup, field engineering, scheduling, contracts administration, safety, estimating, engineering of temporary structures, and AutoCAD drawings for construction means and methods Project submittal preparation and review Follow company and work site safety policies/procedures and commit to an “Incident and Injury Free” work environment Skills 0-3 years of experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or Coastal Engineering Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to work a 40-hour work week with additional hours as required by the project This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language Regular, reliable attendance Work productively and meet deadlines timely Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
