Summary Role Overview: As a Korean Media Planner, you will play a key role in developing and executing media strategies tailored to our clients. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and media partners to ensure campaigns are impactful, efficient, and on target. You’ll utilize your expertise in media planning to optimize strategies that deliver results for our clients in the South Korean market. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies tailored to the local market. Conduct market research to identify target audiences, media consumption habits, and competitive analysis. Collaborate with the global marketing team to align media strategies with overall brand and business goals. Create and manage detailed media plans, including selecting appropriate media channels (TV, radio, digital, print, out-of-home). Negotiate media buys with media vendors to secure optimal placements and pricing. Oversee the implementation of media campaigns from start to finish. Track and report on campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Manage media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Provide regular budget updates and forecasts to senior management. Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure alignment and integration of media efforts. Build and maintain strong relationships with external media partners and agencies. Ensure all media activities comply with local regulations and industry standards. Prepare and present regular reports on media performance, including KPIs and ROI analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably within the Korean market. Fluent in Korean and English, both written and spoken. Proven track record of developing and executing successful media strategies. Strong knowledge of local media landscape and consumer behavior. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools.
