Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque. Position Overview: The Graphic Designer is an artistic-minded and strategically-grounded individual that is responsible for improving Shockwave’s brand experience and resonance through powerful creative. They will work collaboratively with the brand strategy, product marketing, professional education, market access and conference leads to ensure that compelling, visually-impactful content resonates with customers through our channels in a timely and consistent manner. The position will report into the Associate Creative Director. Essential Job Functions: The successful graphic designer candidate will… • Be responsible for creative designed to communicate the Shockwave IVL and Shockwave Reducer story, managing graphic design from conception to delivery. • Contribute to development and execution of campaigns to support product launches, including print, web, e-blasts, digital templates and digital advertising (e.g., display and social). • Work in tandem with other members of the creative team on larger projects to maintain consistency and ensure all work is completed on schedule. • Produce creative collateral for use at conferences and tradeshows as well as contribute to booth design as necessary. • Develop materials in support of Shockwave’s brand integration with Johnson & Johnson MedTech. • Support creative needs of cross-functional teams, including HR, Sales, Ops, and R&D. • Assist with developing PowerPoint presentations and templates. • Collaborate with a cadre of contractors and agencies that can support our content and branding needs. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree required • At least 5 years’ experience in healthcare marketing or agency creative experience required; Medtech experience a plus. • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at one time. • Expertise in Abode Creative Suite and other graphic design programs, as well as ability to design for and work within PowerPoint. • Experience with interactive/digital channels – e.g., web, social media, etc. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, operating within a team and independently, adapting to changing requirements. • Up to 20% travel may be required. Pay Transparency: • The anticipated salary range for this position is $91,000 - $147,200 • For Bay Area only the range is $105,000 - $169,050 • Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year • Additional information can be found through the link below. The anticipated base pay range for this position is : Additional Description for Pay Transparency: The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
