Human Resources Administrator

Tarion is an independent, not-for-profit organization that provides consumer protection for new home buyers in Ontario. They are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to manage day-to-day HR tasks, assist with recruitment, and support various HR functions within the department. Responsibilities Assist with drafting employee letters including probation, anniversary, reward and employment letters Administer employee benefit programs and provide assistance to employees with benefits questions Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data, including absences, salary changes and leaves Provide backup support to payroll department Monitor all day-to-day administration of the attendance tracking system (Replicon) Provide day-to-day administration support using the HRMS (Ceridian Dayforce), including data entry and reporting, and organize and maintain of the HR SharePoint site (employee files) Provide administrative support to the HR Team for HR projects and initiatives, and maintain and update the HR calendar Complete invoicing for the HR department and oversee the operation of the company’s gift fund as the administrator Provide administrative support to the VP, Human Resources File management Other HR administration duties as assigned Skills A minimum of a college diploma with HR, business administration or related discipline 1-3 years' HR administration or related experience Strong communication skills, verbal and written Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work effectively Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Experience with HRMS (Dayforce) is an asset Benefits Competitive compensation program Opportunities for learning and development Employee discount program Access to wellness programs Variety of Employee Assistance Program tools and online resources to support well-being Company Overview Tarion is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ontario’s new home buyers and owners through the province’s new home warranty and protection program.
