This is your chance to be part of a mission-driven team that’s redefining how science is shared with the world. What You’ll Do As a Journal Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our publishing operations—curating, connecting, and catalyzing progress. You will: Lead the full journey of article collections ( Research Topics ), from concept to publication. Build lasting relationships with editors and researchers, championing our journals and fostering trust within the academic community. Grow your assigned Specialty Sections into field leaders through strategic, data-informed initiatives. Elevate team performance by sharing insights, reporting progress, and participating in trainings. Conduct outreach calls and confidently engage in proactive, cold-call-style conversations. Enhance the author experience by responding to feedback and driving process improvements. Evaluate editorial board composition and recruit new members to strengthen our network. About You You’re a natural communicator with a sharp analytical mind and a passion for open science . You bring: Exceptional written and verbal English skills. A relationship-building mindset with a flair for digital and in-person engagement. Data-savviness and a drive to optimize performance. Comfort with new tools and a hunger to learn. Strong time management and project coordination skills. A results-focused, collaborative spirit with a proactive approach. Sound judgment and professionalism in diverse interactions.
