Junior Structural Engineer

Trilon Group is a dynamic, multi-discipline engineering company specializing in transportation and infrastructure. They are currently seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to assist in the analysis and design of structural components for various projects, while gaining hands-on experience and collaborating with senior engineers and project managers. Responsibilities Assist in the analysis and design of structural components for transportation and infrastructure projects (e.g., bridges, retaining walls, culverts, stations, and other civil structures) Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports Support construction engineering and inspection activities, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, geotechnical, construction management, and inspection staff Perform site visits and field observations as needed Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and agency requirements (e.g., AASHTO, DOT, local agencies) Support project schedules, budgets, and quality control procedures Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering 0–3 years of relevant experience (internship or co-op experience considered) Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 12 months Familiarity with structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD, RAM, or similar) Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Basic understanding of transportation infrastructure design standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Master's degree in Civil Engineering Experience with Revit Benefits Holiday and paid-time-off programs 401(k) Plan and Match Career Path Development Program (Management & Technical Career Tracks) Tuition Reimbursement Competitive health and dental insurance premiums Short-Term Disability/Long-Term Disability Life insurance Employee Assistant Program (EAP) Flexible Spending Account And More Company Overview Trilon Group offers career paths, spanning technical, project management, business management, business development, and operations.
