Manager, Project Management, Rack Construction (Hybrid, Seattle)

The Manager, Project Management oversees the successful execution of new Nordstrom Rack store construction projects and business initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Construction, this role drives process improvements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards. A day in the life... • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery and adherence to milestones. • Implement quality control measures and conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with specifications and standards. • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to minimize impact on project outcomes. • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Facilitate effective communication among all project participants, fostering collaboration and transparency. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permitting requirements, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle. • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and implementing lessons learned for future initiatives. • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and end users to anticipate business needs and develop strategies for the Nordstrom Rack program. • Monitor industry practices and trends, assessing their impact on business operations.. • Coordinate with external architects, engineers, and contractors. You own this if... • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Architecture or Construction Management, or equivalent experience. • 7–10 years of progressive management experience in construction, including at least 4 years in project management and team leadership. • Retail store construction experience preferred. • Proven people management, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. $103,500.00 - $175,000.00 Annual This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
