Part time Payroll Management Assistant

Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to empower children and adults with disabilities. The Payroll Management Assistant plays a key role in supporting accurate and timely payroll processing by reviewing, entering, and updating timesheets and related documentation. Responsibilities Enter and update new hire lists Review and process Paid Time-Off (PTO) timesheets and payout reports Review and process Consumer/Participant open suspensions Confirm or resolve Timesheet and Timesheet Line Item Errors Review and respond to timesheet discrepancies or related inquiries in Communications Collaborate with team members to clarify and resolve straightforward payroll-related matters Refer more complex or unusual issues for further research and resolution Review and process incoming emails and faxes related to payroll inquiries Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to payroll processing Maintain confidentiality of payroll information at all times Perform additional duties as assigned by the Payroll Management Supervisor Skills High School Diploma Professional, friendly & understanding personality Ability to work efficiently as a team player as well as individually with minimal direction Self-motivation Ability to consistently maintain and build positive working relationships Willingness to learn new information daily Excellent organizational skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Punctuality and dependability Familiarity with office machines, equipment and software Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality Attention to accuracy and detail Strong interpersonal and analytical skills Experience with Excel and Spreadsheets Proficiency in Microsoft Office software Company Overview Tempus Unlimited exists to provide a continuum of community based services that support the efforts of children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment.
