Pathways Training and Development Specialist

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Pathways Training and Development Specialist to train community behavioral health staff and leadership. The role involves planning and delivering training programs, providing ongoing support, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert for various clinical initiatives. Responsibilities Train the Pathways to Success curriculum, Managing and Adapting Practice, and other HFS directed clinical initiatives to community behavioral health staff and leadership, provide on-going coaching and support for current and new initiatives, and serve as Subject Matter Expert for New Service Initiatives and SOC curriculum Plan and deliver both web-based training, including questions and answers, and on-site trainings statewide for: The Intensive Home-Based service/program and any related components, tools, or related topics that are necessary, Therapeutic Mentoring Service/program and any related components, tools, or related topics that are necessary, Integration of Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP) into Systems of Care work and statewide mental health systems, Training of newly launched Medicaid services to support providers in successful development, implementation and analysis, The IM-CANS assessment and treatment planning tool and any related components of the tool or related topics that are necessary Using various training, coaching and transfer of learning methodologies, the trainer will engage in person and by webinar with Medicaid enrolled providers to: To assess agency specific challenges and build strategies for effective and accurate implementation of the service/program and effective implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA), Solution Focused Approaches and use of MAP tools, Assist in the development and support of MAP supported users and MAP credentialed therapists, Work in conjunction with the Clinical Quality Review team to identify and implement strategies to effectively support implementation of the IHB and Therapeutic Mentoring service and Curriculum Develop trainings, including on-site trainings and web-based trainings on intermediate and advanced use of the functional behavioral analysis tool, solution focused approaches, and MAP tools and resources and their relevance to effective treatment planning for children and families Provide feedback to Pathways Clinical Coordinator and SOC Coordinator as Subject Matter Expert on new services, and IHB, Therapeutic Mentoring, and MAP implementation efforts to guide future curriculum development and statewide support strategies Some analysis of training effectiveness may be required This training will be based in Systems of Care (SoC) principles Travel may be necessary several days per week in order to effectuate trainings Skills Master's degree in social work or related field from an accredited college or university 1 - 3 years of Behavioral Health Services (Clinical) experience LPHA status pursuant to 89 ILAC 140.453 IM+CANS trainer level certification within 90 days of hire MAP Instructor credential within 90 days of hire SOC trainer certification within 120 days of hiring Illinois clinical licensure Experience working with CSPI, CANS, ANSA, FAST or TCOM Experience working in home and community settings providing clinical intervention Experience training Benefits Very competitive benefits portfolio Company Overview The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is dedicated to building upon its tradition of excellence in education, research, public engagement and economic development.
