As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a Senior Insurance Credentialing Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Insurance Credentialing Specialist to manage the insurance credentialing process for our dental surgery center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare insurance credentialing, with hospital experience being a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the entire insurance credentialing process for dental practitioners, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. • Maintain a comprehensive database of provider information, including licenses, certifications, and insurance documents. • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all insurance applications and related documents. • Handle communication with insurance companies, payers, and other relevant organizations to resolve credentialing issues. • Ensure timely submission of credentialing applications and follow up on the status of pending applications. • Collaborate with dental practitioners, administrative staff, and external parties to gather necessary information for credentialing. • Stay updated on industry regulations, changes, and trends related to insurance credentialing. • Train and provide guidance to junior credentialing specialists. • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve the overall credentialing process. Qualifications: • At least 3-5 years of experience in insurance credentialing, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting. • Strong understanding of insurance regulations, compliance, and industry standards. • Familiarity with hospital credentialing processes and requirements is a significant advantage. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness. • Proficiency in using credentialing software and tools. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
