Payroll Administrator / HR Specialist

Job Title: Payroll Administrator / HR Specialist Location: Eatontown, New Jersey Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $80,000 - $100,00 annually Contractor Work Model: Onsite. Very little work can be preformed remotely as we are a highly secure site (credit card manufacturing) Location: Eatontown, New Jersey Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (salaried, may require flex in work schedule, as needed, as we operate production on all three (3) shifts. Payroll Administrator / HR Specialist Responsibilities: • Sole Payroll / HR person supports and processes payroll for approximately 100 FTE's in a manufacturing and IT environment • Payroll administration: Processes biweekly payroll using ADP Workforce now for approximately 100 full time employees. Warehouse / manufacturing environment and includes personnel on all three shifts (days, evenings and overnight shift). Responsible for new hire benefits, managing enrollment, answering employee questions, and assisting with payroll-related tasks and benefits changes. • Hiring and onboarding: Oversees hiring processes. Creates job postings, screens applicants, schedules interviews, and manages the new hire process from offer letter to day one, includes employee orientation and security training. Employee relations: Works with confidential and sensitive information. Serves as a point of contact for employee concerns, mediates disputes, and handles personnel issues and issues disciplinary actions when appropriate. Legal compliance and policy: Ensuring all HR practices comply with federal and state laws and updates company policies and employee handbooks as needed. Training and development: conducts new hire orientations, security training (credit card manufacturing). Manages performance reviews, and develops employee engagement initiatives including annual parties, holiday events and employee appreciation. Record-keeping: Maintaining accurate employee records and handles sensitive and confidential information, updates HRIS and maintains accurate employee personnel files. • Participates in staff meetings, including Production Brief's, Safety Investigations, etc. • Learns and oversees the technical operation of our machinery, including how we manufacture credit cards and how we service our clients / customers. • Helps develop and/or improve training modules, SOP's and standardizing work processes Payroll Administrator / HR Specialist Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. • At least three (3) years experience of Payroll processing experience using ADP Workforce now or substantially similar payroll software. • Prior experience as a HR Generalist, including a strong background in employee conflict resolution and employee training/development is required, preferably from manufacturing or warehousing sector. • Must be "tech & computer savvy" including strong MS Excel skills • Must be capable of learning technical production processes (we produce credit card and "mail" direct to customers from our site) and competent to train others how to use our equipment securely. • Must be able to work outside of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM when needed, as we operate all 3 shifts. i.e. come in early or at night to meet with new hire or conduct investigation, etc. (not very common). • For additional information, please call System One at: 732-240-0209 Press 2. #M1 System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
