PDF QC Technician, Part-Time
Location Remote, within the Continental US. We're looking for a detail-oriented person to review and inspect all PDF files to meet quality standards. Performs final quality control of all text and images extracted from PDF files. Ensure that all PDF content is accurate and complete. Position is for the work schedule detailed below. Starting Salary Range $16.20 to $17.75 per hour Responsibilities • Is accountable to meet specified Quality Control requirements • Ensures all issues identified are accurate, complete and follow the procedures for resolution • Supports Computer Operations • Collaborates and communication with the team • Presents information and respond to questions from co-workers • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, industry best practices, and applicable laws • Performs other duties as required Schedule 24 hours a week (All scheduled times are Mountain Standard Time): • Thursdays 12 PM – 6 PM (MST) • Fridays 12 PM – 6 PM (MST) • Saturdays 12 PM – 6 PM (MST) • Sundays 12 PM – 6 PM (MST) • Works 12 AM to 6 AM one weekend a month (overnight shift) • Holiday coverage overnight or during the day as needed • 12 AM to 6 AM or 4 AM to 10 AM Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED • Must read and write English fluently • Attention to detail • Effective verbal and written communication through various media • Read, analyze, and interpret general operational instructions • Experience operating a computer in a business/office/educational environment, using word processing, email, spreadsheet, and photo- or image-processing software About NewsBank NewsBank, inc. has been a premier information provider for more than 50 years.
