Pharmacist I - Rx Solutions Center - Must be OH Licensed - Hybrid(Remote Considered)

Job Summary: Pharmacist I - Rx Solutions Center (RSC) is responsible for supporting the department and organizational strategies, goals and vision. Utilizing pharmaceutical and clinical expertise to improve the health and well-being of our members. Essential Functions: • Execute pharmacy programs and clinical pharmacy initiatives that optimize medication therapy management, improve quality of care, and reduce costs • Conducts comprehensive medication reviews to ensure appropriate utilization, drug interactions, gaps in care, unnecessary medication, ineffective medications, inappropriate doses, adherence barriers, and overall medication adherence • Determines appropriate interventions to resolve medication therapy problems, achieve goals of therapy, and prevent new problems for members • Supports STAR measures and/or other clinical programs • Documents all activities involved with clinical calling programs in a timely manner • Act as primary contact for providers and members about pharmacy and medication related issues • Provide support and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to drive clinical initiatives • Perform any other job duties as requested Education and Experience: • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required • PharmD preferred • Minimum of three (3) years of retail pharmacy experience is preferred • Minimum of one (1) year managed care or Medicare experience is preferred Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills: • Computer proficient with basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare • Highly customer service oriented • Understands the pharmacist's clinical role in the care of members • Organized and learns quickly • Uses proper grammar in print and e-mail communications • Excellent attendance and punctuality • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Attention to detail • Critical listening and thinking skills • Time management skills • Decision making/problem solving • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • Ability to provide education and support to team members Licensure and Certification: • Current, unrestricted Ohio Registered Pharmacist (RPh) licensure is required • Ability to acquire additional state license(s), as required Working Conditions: • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time Compensation Range: $92,300.00 - $161,600.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
