Photography & Videography Summer Intern

Collaborate with PA Studio, the Port Authority’s in-house Creative Agency, to assist with photography and videography projects showcasing the Port Authority brand. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Assist and facilitate organization of photo/video shoots including equipment selection and preparation. • Capture high quality photo and video of events, projects, and other assignments. • Edit assets as needed. • Manage and organize digital files, ensuring they are archived and distributed according to workflow. About You The company is looking for: • Enrollment at a college or university at the time of the internship. • Major in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field. • Experience with photography, videography, video editing, retouching, database management, Adobe Creative Suite. • Familiarity with project management software like Wrike, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook, or willingness to learn. • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design, and production skills. • Proficient with Canon cameras or similar (desired). • Functional in Adobe Creative Suite (desired). • Good eye for composition (desired). • Team player, open to learning and presenting new ideas (desired). • Excellent written and oral communication skills (desired). • Interest in contributing to the success of the New York and New Jersey region (desired). • Interest in public service and/or transportation (desired). • Willingness to learn (desired). Compensation & Benefits • Hourly rate range: $18.07 to $30.31, determined by internship type and rising school year. • Ability to opt in to the New York State and Local Retirement System. • Access to Employee Business Resource Groups. • Facility tours, career panels, and social/networking events.
