Predictive Modeler (Hybrid)

They are seeking a Predictive Modeler to advance their Predictive Modeling and machine learning functions, focusing on model training, evaluation, and implementation support across business units. Responsibilities Train and evaluate the performance of machine learning models to support key business decisions Collaborate with data engineers to build data sets for training and evaluating machine learning models, including the application of AI tools for extracting features from semi-structured and unstructured data Communicate results and findings to various stakeholder groups and incorporate their feedback into the design of machine learning models when appropriate Partner with IT on the implementation of machine learning models into production Collaborate with business intelligence analysts to design and implement monitoring tools for deployed machine learning solutions Document the data, methods, assumptions, and outcomes for machine learning projects Skills Bachelor's degree in data science, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or similar required Prior work experience in data science, machine learning, or actuarial science Strong coding skills in common data science languages such as Python, R, and SQL Advanced degree preferred Property and casualty insurance experience is a plus Experience with Spark, Databricks, or cluster computing is a plus Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance with no waiting period Competitive paid time off programs 401(k) savings and annual contributions of up to 12% of annual salary Mental health support programs, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave and a variety of additional voluntary benefits Company Overview Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions offer a range of specialty insurance products sold through independent agencies and wholesalers.
