PVG Manager (Client embedded)

PPD-Pharmaceutical Product Development is seeking a highly skilled and motivated PVG Manager to join our team as a client-embedded resource. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of pharmacovigilance for our client, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving the successful completion of projects. Develop and implement pharmacovigilance strategies and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacovigilance for our client, including adverse event reporting, risk management, signal detection, and safety monitoring. Ensure timely and accurate submission of pharmacovigilance data to health authorities and other relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of PVG projects and achieve project milestones. Conduct regular reviews and audits of pharmacovigilance processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as the main point of contact for the client regarding all pharmacovigilance matters, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues. Stay current with industry trends and changes in regulations related to pharmacovigilance, and make recommendations for process improvements and updates to maintain compliance. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior PVG team members, promoting professional development and growth within the department. Ensure high-quality and accurate documentation of all pharmacovigilance activities, including case reports, safety databases, and other relevant documents. Represent the company and the client in meetings with regulatory authorities and other external stakeholders as needed. Identify and address any potential risks to patient safety and product quality, and develop risk mitigation strategies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmacovigilance department, identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency. Serve as a subject matter expert for pharmacovigilance processes, providing guidance and support to other departments as needed. Foster a culture of compliance and quality within the pharmacovigilance team and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
