Job Description We are looking for a talented Python Developer to join our team and play a key role in driving growth for our Multi-Asset and Asset Allocation teams. In this role, you will design and build scalable Python-based services that enhance our investment process and support the expansion of our Multi-Asset fund range. What you’ll be doing: Enhancing infrastructure for the Multi-Asset Funds team to improve robustness and ensure smooth platform transitions Designing and developing new and existing services based on evolving business needs Reviewing and improving data feeds to deliver high-quality inputs for research and fund management processes Collaborating with developers and data teams to maintain consistency with the overall LGIM technology approach Documenting and implementing support models for ongoing service maintenance Undertaking complex coding projects to strengthen and expand the multi-asset toolkit Applying strong data skills, including deep knowledge of SQL, data structures, and data processing Communicating complex technical and analytical concepts clearly to stakeholders while working collaboratively in a hybrid environment Qualifications Who we’re looking for: Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related field Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel/VBA for data processing and automation Solid understanding of build automation, CI/CD systems, and tools for static code analysis and security testing Knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and version control systems (e.g., GitHub) Proven ability to deliver high-quality, auditable solutions under tight deadlines Expertise in automated software testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development Ability to communicate complex technical and mathematical concepts clearly to diverse audiences Familiarity with major asset classes, derivatives, and experience building similar systems is highly desirable Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
