Role Description This is a contract, remote QA/Coder position. The QA/Coder will be tasked with analyzing medical codes and ensuring accuracy and compliance with detailed coding standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing documentation, verifying proper code assignment, identifying coding errors, and implementing corrections as needed. Collaboration with teams to maintain coding best practices and continuous quality improvement is also a key part of this role. Qualifications • Proficiency in medical coding, with a strong understanding of ICD-10, OASIS, and PDGM • Experience in quality assurance and the ability to identify and correct coding inaccuracies • Excellent research skills and familiarity with compliance standards in medical coding • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Certification such as COS-C or equivalent • Prior experience is a must • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and excellence • Must be willing to perform 8-10 reviews per day • Must know Epic Apply tot his job
