Quality Assurance Engineering Intern

Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry, seeking a passionate Quality Assurance Engineering Intern to join their Segment Product Quality team. The intern will be involved in quality data analysis, product label standardization, and assisting with warranty analysis activities. Responsibilities Investigate and evaluate all the existing products that are being sold to verify if they meet product label requirements Work with CWI Dometic Product list, Engage Engineering team, SQE team and the supplier to implement the new requirements of product labels Complete Vendor approval process (PPAP) for this change Monitor Amazon Return Portal Daily ,Weekly and report to Segment Quality Evaluate and Analyze Sales RMA Returns and Amazon returns including final disposition of claim. Interact with quality group as required. Tests and inspects finished products returned. Compiles and documents data Assist Engineering Dept with special requests; testing and/or repairing items to regain functionality Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor Provide input and assistance in warranty analysis activities performed by Segment Quality-Engineering team May enter data into computer systems for analysis and updating of database Skills Must be a current student or recent graduate of a university or college. Minimum of a rising sophomore level Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with Failure Mode Analysis Ability to analyze the Warranty issues using Quality tools like 8D, 5 Why etc Quality certifications Data analysis Company Overview Dometic offers solutions for mobile living in the areas of various sectors such as food, hygiene, and security.
