Quant Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Quant Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining quantitative trading systems and tools. This role requires a strong background in software development, financial modeling, and advanced technical skills in various programming languages and infrastructure technologies. The Quant Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance trading strategies and operational efficiency. Responsibilities • Develop and optimize quantitative trading algorithms and models using languages such as Python, C++, Java, and C# • Build and maintain robust web applications and APIs utilizing RESTful architecture, React Express, Ruby on Rails, and other frameworks • Manage IT infrastructure components including AWS, Azure, Linux environments, and cloud services to ensure system reliability and scalability • Implement secure access controls (RBAC) and ensure compliance with security standards across platforms • Collaborate within Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions through continuous integration using GitHub, Git, SVN, and other version control tools • Design front-end interfaces for trading dashboards using front-end development tools like JavaScript, React, and VBA • Integrate various data sources such as MySQL, SQL Server, and other databases to support analytical models • Develop RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between systems • Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of applications to optimize speed and efficiency • Stay updated with advancements in quantum engineering, application development, and financial technology to incorporate innovative techniques into existing systems Experience • Proven experience in software development within financial services or related industries • Strong background in web development frameworks including Ruby on Rails, React Express, and .NET • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for deploying scalable applications • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, C++, Java, C#, VBA, and JavaScript • Familiarity with IT infrastructure management including Linux environments and REST APIs • Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or SQL Server for data management tasks • Experience working within Agile methodologies for software project delivery • Understanding of quantum engineering principles is a plus but not mandatory • Prior experience with application development involving APIs, GitHub/Git version control systems, SVN, RBAC security models, and front-end/back-end integration is highly desirable This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of quantitative finance technology within a collaborative environment committed to innovation.
