Remote Primary/Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO)- Telemedicine

Responsibilities • Conduct virtual medical consultations with patients via a secure telemedicine platform • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespan • Prescribe medications and order appropriate laboratory tests or diagnostic studies when clinically indicated • Provide patient education, counseling, and evidence-based guidance on treatment plans and preventive care • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical documentation • Collaborate with Clinical Operations and care teams to support continuity of care and deliver an exceptional patient experience Requirements • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school • National Board Certification required • Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state • Minimum two years of post-residency clinical experience preferred • Prior telehealth or virtual care experience strongly preferred • Multiple active state medical licenses highly desirable • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills • Comfort with technology and conducting video-based patient encounters • Access to a private, professional workspace suitable for confidential patient consultations DirectShifts is an Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
