The Publishing Content Layout Associate (Temporary) is responsible for creating and updating page layouts for print products, uploading and updating content for the online platform, and modifying images and illustrations for both print and digital. Responsibilities Creating pages using InDesign templates Formatting materials to ensure the product is consistent, helpful, and visually appealing to teachers and students Applying edits to existing content using InDesign Modifying images and illustrations using Photoshop and Illustrator Checking for consistency by reviewing pages across multiple resources Fixing formatting and content issues as they’re identified Uploading and editing online content in TCI's internal tools (training provided) Skills Available to work 35-40 hours per week during standard business hours Must be proficient in using InDesign Must understand how to use master pages in InDesign Proficiency with Illustrator/Photoshop Ability to meet deadlines while working independently Strong communication and collaboration skills BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience Experience with Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Zoom, and Project Management tools Must have a personal laptop/computer and be able to run updated versions of provided systems/application Company Overview We provide K-12 educators with inquiry-based science and social studies curriculum solutions designed to engage students and drive learning.
