RPG Consultants is a family-owned retirement planning firm based in Long Island, NY, seeking a motivated individual for an entry-level Retirement Plan Support Associate position. The role involves servicing clients in retirement plan administration and providing operational support while ensuring clients understand their plans. Responsibilities Service existing and new clients in retirement plan administration, including a full range of administrative and operational support services to various clients and plan participants Effectively explain plan designs, policies, and procedures; and address questions to ensure our clients fully understand their individualized plans via phone and email Process and track retirement plan distribution requests for defined contribution plans Research and resolve distribution and technical issues Process and track retirement plan contributions and deposits for defined contribution plans Troubleshoot problems encountered in day-to-day operations Maintain the participant/sponsor/advisor web portals and corresponding login credentials Provide reports and data files to clients and internal teams when necessary Complete special projects and reports, as assigned, accurately and timely Skills An undergraduate degree from a 4-year college required Candidates with a degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Math or similar fields are useful in this role Customer support experience through phone and e-mail is required Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interface with clients Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite Meticulous attention to detail is vital for this position Desire to function as part of a team with the ability to self-motivate to meet client demands Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Candidates who have experience with FIS Relius, PensionPro Workflow, M-Files, and Microsoft Teams are encouraged to apply Bilingual skills are preferred but not required Company Overview RPG Consultants provides administration and recordkeeping for retirement and benefit plans.
