Northrop Grumman is a leader in technological advancements and invites you to join their team as a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist – Level 3. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring commodities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with various programs to achieve objectives. Responsibilities • Source and procure various commodities throughout multiple programs – Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiations • Ensure compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations • Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices • Interface and collaborate with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain • Plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives Skills • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/ Procurement, Operations – OR – Master's degree with 3+ years of professional experience; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered • Experience with SAP ERP system • Experience in MS Office suite • Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry is preferred • Experience with FAR/DFAR • Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups • Written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized, as well as being an Excel power user Benefits • Health insurance coverage • Life and disability insurance • Savings plan • Company paid holidays • Paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business Company Overview • Northrop Grumman is an aerospace, defense and security company that provides training and satellite ground network communications software.
