Clutch is a rapidly growing staffing agency seeking an experienced freelance VP, Brand Strategist for a client in the pharmaceutical sector. The role involves leading brand vision, driving client success, and managing product launches while ensuring brand consistency across various platforms. Responsibilities • Lead Brand Vision: Serve as the strategic lead for high-profile pharmaceutical accounts, translating complex scientific data and brand insights into integrated, authentic, and impactful brand strategies • Drive Client Success: Act as a trusted advisor to C-Suite clients and key stakeholders, cultivating deep partnerships and ensuring all creative work aligns with core brand objectives • Mastermind Product Launches: Lead the development and execution of integrated 360° campaigns for new product launches, biologics portfolios, and new indication entries across HCP and DTC markets • Generate Segmented Insights: Utilize research, KPI outputs, and competitive deep dives to identify "white space" opportunities and develop tailored content that meets specific patient and provider needs • Champion Business Growth: Drive organic revenue growth by identifying new initiatives and protecting agency margins through efficient scope management and strategic planning • Mentor and Lead: Foster a collaborative team environment, managing a group of strategists and cross-functional partners to ensure professional growth and high-performance creative output • Ensure Brand Consistency: Oversee the creation and implementation of brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent voice and strategic execution across all digital, traditional, and social platforms Skills • 12–15+ years of strategic planning experience within a pharmaceutical or healthcare agency setting • Extensive experience leading full-funnel 360° campaigns for global brands, ideally with a focus on oncology • Demonstrated experience managing and growing large cross-functional teams and handling multi-million dollar budgets • Ability to toggle seamlessly between high-level brand architecture/positioning and tactical execution (digital, social, OOH, print, and experiential) • A compelling storyteller with the ability to present complex strategic concepts to multi-level stakeholders and C-suite executives • Strong competency in assessing KPIs, conducting consumer journey research, and utilizing market dynamics to inform creative briefs • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required • MBA or advanced degree preferred Company Overview • Clutch provides staffing solutions for advertising and marketing professionals.
