About the position The Retirement Plan - Client Relations Specialist - Fund Event Team at SS&C Technologies plays a crucial role in supporting a diverse range of clients who manage investment vehicles on the TRAC platform. This position is integral to overseeing various fund events, including mergers, stock splits, and fund name changes. Given the high volume of transactions and the financial implications involved, the role demands a dedicated focus to effectively manage these monthly events. The team collaborates closely with internal departments and utilizes advanced systems to ensure seamless execution of fund events, making it essential for candidates to possess a solid understanding of Retirement Plan Services. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the fund event calendar, requesting and reviewing impact scans, and coordinating with various internal teams to execute events efficiently. Regular communication with business partners is vital, as you will engage in weekly reviews of all fund event activities. As a Subject Matter Expert on SS&C's Retirement Solutions system functionality and products, you will prioritize client requests based on their impact and severity, applying strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve client-reported issues. The ideal candidate will have a background in the retirement plan industry, complemented by customer service experience. Attention to detail, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn are essential traits for success in this fast-paced team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with efficient time management and organizational abilities, are critical for managing the demands of this role. Familiarity with SQL, PowerSelect, or TSO is a plus, and candidates should be prepared to work in the local office six days per month. Responsibilities • Oversee fund events including monitoring calendar, requesting and reviewing impact scans, and working with internal departments to execute events. , • Communicate with business partners on an ongoing weekly basis to review all fund event activity. , • Become a Subject Matter Expert on SS&C Retirement Solutions system functionality and products. , • Prioritize client requests based on impact and severity of the issue. , • Apply strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve client-reported issues. Requirements • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of work-related experience or Master's degree or 4 years equivalent work-related experience. , • Knowledge of retirement plan industry is preferred. , • Customer Service experience. , • Attention to detail. , • Curiosity and the desire to learn. , • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. , • Efficient time management with strong organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced team environment. Nice-to-haves • SQL, PowerSelect, or TSO knowledge a plus.
