Sales Lead Coordinator

OTIP (Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan) is an organization that values its employees and their contributions. The Sales Lead Coordinator will support the regional sales department by managing, tracking, and qualifying sales leads, ensuring they are properly routed to sales representatives and contributing to the department's effectiveness. Responsibilities Oversee the intake and distribution of incoming leads from various sources (web, phone, email, etc.) ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation Review, assess, and qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they meet the necessary standards pursuing sales opportunities Review and respond accordingly to client and third-party requests. This includes, but is not limited to, contacting clients and third parties for additional information and returning messages Initiate communications and follow up requirements to clients and appropriate parties to request or verify information as required. This includes following established department procedures Audit and update policy information on the broker management system to ensure accuracy of data and policies Maintain and update the Broker Management System with accurate lead data and track lead progress through the sales pipeline Pre-qualify risks, obtain necessary information to finalize sales, follow up on expiry dates, screen and follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns. Process and distribute online quotes Respond to telephone inquiries and written requests from both internal and external stakeholders Identify opportunities for improving the lead qualification process, streamlining workflows, and enhancing overall efficiency Provide quality service while adhering to customer service standards and keep information confidential to protect operations Perform other duties within competence, as assigned Skills A secondary school diploma A minimum of one year's experience in an office environment A minimum of one year's experience in the insurance industry or a related field Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders Superior time management, project management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and experience with EPIC A Broker license is an asset The ability to communicate in French and English is an asset Benefits Defined benefit pension plan for a financially confident retirement 100% coverage of approved continuing education and licensing fees (including RIBO courses in Ontario) Access to a wealth of learning resources, including LinkedIn Learning for professional development Flexible work-from-home and hybrid options Unlock your potential with opportunities for advancement Company Overview At OTIP, we not only understand the education system, we believe in it.
