What to Expect As an engineer on the team, you'll: Ship code to production quickly and work on mission-critical projects within your first month. Architect, build, and launch complex, multi-step AI agents used to digitize operational workflows and save millions of dollars per year. Integrate with 3rd-party providers of lending services APIs to generate documents, produce automated underwriting results, or prevent fraud. Architect, build, and launch the next generation of job processing infrastructure on AWS to improve backend reliability and observability. Tech Stack TypeScript (frontend and backend) React (frontend) Node.js / Express (backend) running inside Docker GraphQL / Apollo PostgreSQL AWS (ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and more) Terraform for infrastructure management Engineering Practices End-to-end Type Safety: Types generated from Postgres and GraphQL schemas to catch incompatible changes early. Full-Stack Code Sharing: Seamless sharing of TypeScript files between client, server, and other packages. Reproducible Infrastructure: Terraform-managed infrastructure with CI pipelines that deploy temporary staging environments per pull request. First-Class Testing Utilities: Comprehensive library for end-to-end, integration, and performance tests to ensure reliability while moving fast.
