Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Software Engineer with strong experience in Java, C++, C#, Unity, and full-stack development. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record building mobile, online, or large-scale live games, and can design, implement, and maintain reliable gameplay systems, tools, and backend services. Experience working in secure, mission-critical, or regulated environments (federal/defense clients) is a plus. Responsibilities Design and develop gameplay features, tools, and systems in Java, C++, and C# (Unity). Build and maintain scalable backend services using technologies such as Golang, PHP, MySQL, or equivalent. Collaborate with designers, artists, and product teams to deliver smooth game experiences across mobile and online platforms. Optimize performance for mobile and web platforms, including memory, rendering, and network efficiency. Implement secure coding practices and contribute to high-reliability, fault-tolerant game services. Debug complex client/server issues and improve overall stability of live game environments. Participate in architecture design, technical planning, and code reviews. (Optional for federal/defense clients) Work within secure development lifecycle guidelines and support compliance requirements for mission-critical systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in game development or high-performance software engineering. Strong proficiency in Java, C++, C#, Unity, SQL. Hands-on experience with mobile game development, online games, or large distributed applications. Understanding of networking principles, game loops, concurrency, and scalable server architecture. Experience developing tools, frameworks, or gameplay systems used by cross-functional teams. (Bonus) Experience with secure coding, enterprise systems, or software for regulated/federal environments. (Bonus) Familiarity with Lua, PHP, TypeScript/React, or Golang.
